Hello Nitin,
You can try jee main and advanced exam for consecutive 2 years. You can choose NIT this year and take iit from next year. But I would suggest you to go for iit colleges this year since one year wouldn't be wasted. Also the fees will be lower and you will adjust with time. You can write jee twice from the year you have written the exam. Therefore you can write jee advanced next year also.
