Being from IIM community, I would like to tell a realistic point of view. As per my experience, No one can guarantee a person's placement even if you belong to a Top tier B-school. Because our performance and hard work defines it. I would suggest to keep Placement records as a secondary parameter for deciding a B-school, because our great performance in a non-top tier B-school can still fetch us success.
