Hello,

Yes, you are eligible for EWS. If the combined income of you and your family is less than 8 Lakh. Your parents and younger siblings make up your family. Your spouse and kids also. Your family does not include any siblings above the age of 18. Therefore, even if your siblings are making a living, it won't matter. typically, your income + your parents' income. It should be less than Rs. 8 lakh, and your family's assets should be below the stated limits. You are then qualified. Government or private employment is equally valid.

Thank You

Hello,

As you mentioned that your family income is less than 8L per annum let me tell you that there are other eligible criteria that needs to be fulfilled by you which are as follows -

  1. Your family income should be less than 8L per annum.
  2. You should not own more than 5 acres of land.
  3. You should not own a residential area of 1000 sqft or more.

If you fulfill all these criteria then you are eligible for EWS criteria.
