Hi Candidate,

If you talk about the Eligibility criteria for application in JEE Mains, you must know that- A Candidate can apply JEE MAINS thrice in consecutive years starting from his class-XIIth passing year, but since JEE ADVANCED is limited to just two attempts so the candidate has to appear JEE Advanced in the CLASS-XIITH year or its next consecutive year only.

You can definitely appear fir jee advanced but before that you need to appear for jee mains and crack it. It doesn't matters that you did not appear for jee mains while you were in class 12th. You can definitely apply for jee mains now as the application forms are out. Jee mains is to be conducted in 4 sessions and the first session is from February 22-25.
