Scoring 150 marks is good but enough to hold the seats in Good NITs such as NIT Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal, Allahabad and Calicut. As you are a general category student and aiming for good rank And branch your should around 200 because this 50 marks difference matters a lot it can change your ranks in Lakhs. And also with 75% in boards is enough to take admission in any NIT or government college but not in case of DU. 150 marks can only provide you college such as NIT Bhopal,Goa, Srinagar, Mizoram, Himachal Pradesh.
With branch like Civil, mechanical, biotechnology, chemical etc. But if your luck works then you can also get CSE.
So I suggest you to work hard and aim high, because plenty of time left for your final result.
