If a student got 80%tile in Jee mains from Open category then your rank would be probably in the range of 1,50,000 to 2,00000 since more than 9 lakhs students sit for the exam. So to get a good college through Jee one have to score more than 93%tile since the competion is very high and generally cutoffs are above 87%tile every year.
