If a candidate qualifies S.A stream, he/she will be called for an interview. Upon clearing the interview, the candidate will be granted scholarship only after they start pursuing undergraduate courses (B.S./B.Sc./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S.) in basic sciences, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology or any other science subject as prescribed by IISc.

The selected students will be granted monthly scholarship and annual contingency of Rs.5000 and Rs.20000 for B.Sc./ B.S./ B.Stat./ B.Math. / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S. for first three years and Rs.7000 and Rs.28000 for M.
