Correct Answer: 185

Solution : Given, $5a+\frac4a-2=13$
⇒ $5a+\frac4a=13+2$
⇒ $5a+\frac4a=15$
Squaring both sides, we get,
⇒ $(5a+\frac4a)^2=(15)^2$
⇒ $25a^2+\frac{16}{a^2}+2\times 5a\times\frac4a=225$ [As $(a+b)^2=a^2+b^2+2ab$]
⇒ $25a^2+\frac{16}{a^2}+40=225$
⇒ $25a^2+\frac{16}{a^2}=225-40$
⇒ $25a^2+\frac{16}{a^2}=185$
Hence, the correct answer is 185.
