You cannot change your Category from the application time and registering time. Once you select a particular Category, then you are expected to submiy proofs of the same Category duting counselling and admission. If you chose a Category which has benefits the merit list shows your rank against that Category moving you few ranks ahead of a candidate who scored the same marks and belongs to General Category. Now you cannot change your Category. You are supposed to submit proof that you belong to OBC Category. Failing which you might be held under malpractide and your admission stands cancelled.
