It depends on, at which firm you are working but average salary 5-6 lakh.
It increases as experience increases.

Civil engineering is the core branch having great scope.

There is nothing like best branch.
It all depends on your interest. This is also true that students didn't know about branch and what will be there so interest can't be decided.

But you make list of branch which you can take and also Google it

like what are the subject you will going to study if you choose itWho is its demand What excites you most What are challenges in that branch.
