Dear aspirant,

It was earlier that students belonging to OBC /SC/ST category were allowed to take admission in general category after the reserved seats got filled or the candidate has cleared the general cut off despite being from other reserved categories.

But now candidates are not allowed to take admission through General category if they have applied under any other reserved category.

Since, you belong to SC category but have applied under OBC category you will not be allowed to get admission under general category.

However , you can try and request the authorities or the college to allow you to apply again. If not, then you can apply in other next best college.
