If you are filling your JEE Main form and giving improvement exam this year, then you will have to select the passed option. Suppose you are giving improvement exam in 2019, that means you have already passed your board exams in 2018. So you will have to enter the passing year as 2018. You will have to enter the marks of 2018, as technically you won't be getting the final marks before applying.
