yes,one can appear for both NEET and JEE in the same year.Physics and Chemistry are common in both NEET and JEE.You have to study one more subject if you are appearing for JEE i.e Mathematics.From 2019 ,students can appear for JEE twice a year.So you can appear for JEE in january and april and you can appear for NEET in may.But you need to do more hardwork and also mathematics requries more practicing.
