Hi,

The number of question of jee are shown in a corner of the computer screen .

If you answer a question and save it it will appear in green colour on the questions palette.

If You have NOT answered the question, but have marked the question for review it will appear in purple colour. This will not be considered for evaluation.

The question(s) "Answered and Marked for Review" will appear purple in colour but with a green dot appearing on it. These question will be considered for evalution.

So if you answer a question and marked that for rewieve it will be counted in evaluation.

NTA provide mock test on its official website. just go through it once so that you will have a complete idea of paper pattern.

Hi student,

If you click on an option in JEE main Exam but do not click on save and next, than the answer is not counted as it is not being saved. The computer has not known what you have answered.
