No...

You have to clear your 12th std first. If you failed only in 1 subject, you may write the compartmental exam. But if you failed in more than 1 subject, then you will have to write it in the next academic year. After clearing your papers you may apply for various engineering exams.

Hey i saw your comment about fail in 1 subject only..

I’m kind of pretty nervous about my paper on physics as i want to study diploma in computer engineering..

So there is 6 sub
English,maths,phys,chem,bio and fine arts

So if i fail on physics i can appear as compartments?
Please make a reply i need it..
