Hi

Which  category do you belong to?

This is difficult to predict whether you will be able to qualify NTSE stage 1 examination or not as qualifying cut off marks or not as cut off marks depends upon a number of factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

The ntse madhya pradesh stage 1 expected  cut off to be eligible for NTSE stage 2 is given below category wise:-

* general :- 175-185 marks

*OBC- 162-178

* Scheduled Caste :- 152-162

*Scheduled Tribe :- 130-140

So , with 156 marks you have  a little bit low chances if you belong to general or obc category but if you belong to reserved categories then you have good chances to qualify NTSE stage 1
