250 is a great rank, but it's not enough. Almost all Agricultural Colleges accept ICAR exam score, many state government colleges have particular percentage of reservation in their colleges and most Central Government Universities have under percent admission from ICAR exam.

In top colleges the cutoff is generally e around 300 to 350 rank so there is a high chance of getting top colleges like BHU etc through your rank.

For generally WS category its even lower so your chances to get an top agricultural college is extremely high.
