TFW is tution fee waiver.

This scheme has been implemented by the Govt. for meritorious and economically backward students for admission in to universities / university departments, government colleges and self financing universities/ colleges offering engineering/ technology /pharmacy/ architecture courses.

Total annual Family Income of the student from all sources must be less than Rs. 2.50 lakhs(Rupees two lakhs and fifty thousand) and you have to show your income certificate as well. 

If you fall under this category you can apply through TFW or else with OBC category. Selection is based on merit list only.
