While you are giving second compartment exam it will not make any difference.on result whatever marks you scored there will be  no deduction. But on your marksheet the board will mention about the 2nd compartment exam. This will make a year gap so while you are taking admission in colleges or during placement make sure you have a genuine reason to explain them about this year gap . If there was any medical issues then do have a medical certificate by a recognised hospital or clinic as a proof if asked.
