Getting a free seat (like full fee waiver) in a reputed college with a rank below 10,000 in general category is very tough. Most top government colleges give free seats only to very high rankers or students from reserved categories or those with financial need.

But, you may get scholarships or fee waivers in some private colleges if your score is good. Still, full free seats in reputed colleges are rare in general category.

So, chances are low, but you can still check with individual colleges about their scholarship or fee concession rules.
