The eligibility criteria for engineering at Chitkara University is as follows -

• You must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 60% marks.
• Admission to BE will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2019 scores.

So, yes a proper score in the JEE Mains is important to get admission in this college. Do not worry, you have another chance. Prepare really well for JEE Mains to be conducted in the month of April. Though, according to some alumni of the college, there is no specified cut off for JEE Main. So, sit for April session and clearing the exam would probably be enough.

there is no other entrance exams available than jee mains for chitkara university's admissions.so you should give and get qualify through jee mains 2019.if you failed in jan jee mains,then no problem you can give april session.application are available now.
