You are not eligible for JoSAA counselling if your NIOS marksheet has only 4 subjects. JoSAA requires a single marksheet with at least 5 subjects, including PCM and English. You need to reappear through NIOS with all 5 subjects in one marksheet to qualify..
Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for JoSAA counselling if:
You have passed Class 12 from a recognised board (NIOS is accepted).
You had at least 5 subjects in Class 12.
But , if your NIOS marksheet shows only 4 subjects (PCM + English) , then it may be a problem. JoSAA requires candidates to have at least 5 subjects in their qualifying exam (Class 12).
If your CBSE marksheet has 6 subjects and you are using that for eligibility, then you're fine. But if you're using the NIOS marksheet, and it has only 4 subjects, you may not be eligible.
Hope it helps !
