Yes, if you've missed the 2nd compartment, then you will be able to reappear for the 3rd compartment, which was held in July/August of the same year. You will generally need to reappear in all subjects in the final exam as a regular student or a private student.

You can still appear for the 3rd compartment chance in CBSE Class 12 even if you missed the 2nd chance.

CBSE allows three chances to clear a compartment subject.
Missing one chance does not cancel the remaining chance.

So, if you were placed in compartment and have not used all three chances, you can use the 3rd chance .

If all three chances are missed or failed, then you have to appear again as a private candidate in all subjects .
