Hello Karim, To continue to previous answers, yes it is true that there is no such thing as free seat. You have to pay the tuition fees to book that particular seat. And to get a seat like that you new to score good.

i would like to say the SRM UNIVERSITY is a Private university , while there is no admission based on free , as per the college free seat is called based on your ranking you will get merit seat for that you need pay a tution fee and hostel , for this seat you need not pay any extra fee as donation anything else

If you got a rank below 10 you  can get a free seat and if you got a rank below 100 you can get scholarship and if you can score a rank below 500 you can get a scholarship of about 25 percent , so all the best for your future and hope that you will get a seat in srm
