Eligibility criteria of the exam varies colleges to colleges.
In order to be eligible for IITs/NITs/IIITs and CFTIs you should have 75% marks in your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.
If you are applying for DTU and NSIT then you should have aggregate 60% in P/C/M. There is relaxation of marks in reserved category as well.
There are many private colleges as well who consider JEE Main marks to provide admission. There eligibility criteria varies. Mostly in the colleges you need aggregate 60 or 50 percent marks in P/C/M in your 12th class.
