yaa , you may not be selected in first councelling as cut off may differ from last year , but I am pretty sure that you will definitely be selected in second councelling.

As you have not mentioned specific marks or marks because of that it is difficult to provide college details but according to previous year Trends if you can get a rank below 10k and you are from home state quota general category student then you can get admission in government college in west bengal.

Government college for 10k rank in west bengal
1. College of medicine and jnm hospital
2.Bankura sammilani medical college.

But if you can get a rank in 1000-2000 then you can surely get very good medical college in west bengal

Though getting a seat through entrance exams is always relative and depends upon the merit trend, question paper difficulty, number of applicants of that particular year . But, as per previous years trends you can get seat in 3-4th round of counseling and it might be upgraded to your desired seat after some more rounds. Also, there are around 900-1000 seats in west bengal.
