No, selecting the Tuition Fee Waiver ( TFW ) option in MPDTE counseling does not affect your eligibility for other reserved seats under the GEN-EWS category . The TFW is a separate quota meant to support economically weaker students by waiving tuition fees , and you can be considered for both TFW and GEN - EWS seats simultaneously. If you meet the criteria and opt for TFW , you will be considered for it first , and if not allotted , you will still remain eligible for GEN - EWS or general merit seats based on your rank and preferences .
