If I take any other branch in NIT college. Will I am able to change my branch to CSE

Hey,
Yes there are different schemes by each college for upgradation of their branches. Normally NIT's have the scheme of checking for first years grade pointer , if its extraordinary i.e. you are in top scorers of your college then they upgrade your branch as per your choice.

It means they change branch after 1st semester either we can say after 1 year

Semester is of 6 months. Mostly colleges provide upgradation after an year
