Yes Lateral entry students are also eligible to give GATE exam. Candidates must have passed graduation in engineering/technology or Master’s degree in any relevant science subject. Candidates in pre-final or final year of their qualifying degree also eligible to appear for GATE 2022. Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur will release the GATE 2022 application form in online mode. To access the application form of GATE 2022, candidates will have to register at GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).
