Hello there,

Bio-technology programs in Canada are offered as a bachelor’s degree, graduate diploma, masters degree, and doctoral degree. There are many top universities in Canada which offers these courses. But as per subject ranking University of Toronto is best. Also McGill University is good.

Average annual cost to pursue an UG bio-tech program in Canada ranges from $15,000-$45,000 CAD depending on the choice of college and program. Scholarships are also available at some of the institutes but not at all.

Eligibility criteria for UG programs :

  • Successful completion of Grade 12 with an aggregate of 60%
  • Must have a science background (studied biology, chemistry, math, and physics)
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency (IELTS- 6 or above; TOEFL iBT - 85)

This data varies per university choice.

Cost of living in Canada varies with location and type of accommodation. However, an average student spends nearly $20,000 CAD per year on rent, food, transport, and other necessities.

Hope this helps.
