If my college allotted but I want different branch in same college, then I go for SLIDE option but new branch not allotted in same college

FLOAT gives you the opportunity to access all colleges above your currently allotted college and SLIDE gives you access to all branches of your currently allotted college whichever you have enter above the alloted one. So yes your currently secured seat is definitely safe.
