Actually…according to sources the cutoff marks for general category student is 81.
So according to that a positive and safe side score should be around 120(+/-5) …to get into NIT,dgp
So , I think with a score around 120 you'll be able to get get a seat in North eastern nit's .

This is a bit difficult to answer if you are from general category it is very difficult to accept the fact that you will be accepted at any of the NITs across the nation. Even students from the SC and ST category will be facing problem in getting the seat at such rank.but there is a possibility of getting a seat in NIT of your home state if one is from the reserved category but that also seems very unlikely.
