In case if you have registered for the special round of the seat allotment and in those two rounds your seat does not get upgraded then in that case you will retain the current seat that you would have been alloted in the 7th round of counselling otherwise if your seat is updated then your current seat will be cancelled and you will be alloted a new seat.
