if our income is below 1 lakh. can i get full fee waiver in nit colleges?

Hello aspirant,

See if your family income is below one lakh, then yes you can get full fee waiver in NIT colleges. However, as per your respectively category, you must have qualified more or equal to the minimum qualifying rank range so as to get fee waiver. If you have qualified in the minimum qualifying range or more than that and have all the necessary financial documents to show the officials while the verification of documents, then you will be eligible for full fee waiver in NIT colleges.

I believe in Most IITs and NITs, there is a Merit cum Means Scholarship scheme where your tution fee will be completely waved off or reduced based on Family Income. However in certain Institutes this scheme is renewed from the Second Year based on merit basis and your performance in the previous academic sessions besides your family income consideration.
