If you have the OBC-NCL certificate, you will be allotted a seat in the OBC category, else you will be considered a general candidate, and your seat will be allotted in the open category.So, in case you don't have the OBC-NCL certificate, better apply for it as soon as possible, so that you can have it during the admissions season.
