If the cut off is decreased than last year means , if the department or teaching of that particular department is not good?

Cutoffsdecrease due to various reasons as mentioned which can be one of the factors contributing lower cutoff this year:

  • Increase in seats
  • Lesser placements
  • Low student performance
  • Exam difficulty
  • Increase in total student applications.
  • Lack of proper tecahing and reviews.


Cutiff hence cannot be jsut judged on any one particular criteria it can be combination of above.
