Hello,

Your percentile is not only decided by your performance, but also on the following factors:

  • The highest marks secured by the topper. If the highest marks is 250 out of 300, then 250 is considered as 100 percentile.
  • The number of students with same score as you.
  • The number of students with score greater than and less than you,
  • The no of shifts in which the exam is conducted.
  • The difficulty level of each paper in each shift,

To answer your query, the percentile is decided after all the shifts have been conducted and not by each shift alone.

Hope this helps.
