For +2 students computer science is a subject and Science is the branch.

And if you are in Science branch then their is your computer science / Informatics Practice subject. You have to choose any one of it according to which your  school/college is teaching the subject.

There are two Science streams in higher secondary schooling. Science stream have two domains first one is science with computer and the other one is science with biology. Science with biology is further divided into two aspects first one is science with biology and mathematics and other aspect is pure biology which will not have mathematics. Science with biology will be considered as first group and science with computer will be considered as second group. If you opt for science with biology you can choose any field medical, engineering, etc. But if you opt for second group you cannot choose medical field. Computer science is one of the subject. Whatever you choose both these groups will be represented as science groups. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Computer Science is a subject of Class 12th students. In some schools it is only available for PCM students and in some it is available for commerce students also and in some schools it is available with Arts stream also. You should better enquire at your school.
