If two parallel sides of a trapezium are 60 and 26cm. Find the area of trapezium.

Hello,

The formula to calculate area of the trapezium is 1/2x(B1+B2)xH

where B1 is the base one, B2 is base two and H is the height between the two parallel lines or distance between two parallel lines.When the area when calculated with the given values will be 43H cm^2.

The formula for calculating  area of a trapezium is-


= (Sum of parallel sides)*height/2


Since the height of the trapezium is not given then the area will be calculated in terms of height.


Area= 43h


where h= height
