JOSAA counseling conducting committee gives the student an advantage by freezing, floating or sliding a seat in college and branch.

1.) Freeze: as the name says, it freezes the seat of a particular branch and college.

2. Slide: It means that you can freeze the college but you go for up-gradation in the seat.

3. Float: It means that you can reserve a seat in a particular college and branch, and go for up-gradation of both the branch and college.

If you don't select any of the options then you won't be able to get a seat in any college.
