If you opt for upgradation in the second round, your first-round admission is typically not canceled until you secure a seat in the second round. If you get a new seat, your previous one is automatically canceled. You don’t need to take admission again in the same college unless you're allotted the same choice again. If no upgradation occurs, your first-round seat remains secure.
