No, it won't affect your placements at all. See most of the students take drop to after class 12th to prepare for competitive entrance examinations like JEE, NEET and so on and companies also understand this thing so they do not mind if you have a gap between your 10+2 and first year of graduation but yes they might ask you about your gap period during interviews. However what matters to companies is your academic performance and projects aligned to the role for which they are seeking candidates so don't worry at all your placements won't be affected just because of gap of an year.
