When we run our both hands together so we feel heat and this heat is generated by friction.

So on rubbing hand their surface slide against each other.

Molecules of these surfaces opposes each other and this force is called as frictional force.

These frictional force convert the kinetic energy to heat energy . This energy feels in our hand .

That's why it is said that keep on rubbing your hands in winters so that we can feel warm.

Hello Ragam,

When we rub our hands together, heat is generated because of friction . Friction is the force that resists motion when two surfaces slide against each other. As the hands move, the friction between them converts mechanical energy into heat energy , making the hands feel warm.
