Dear Ranjith, any work experience should have an experience letter and atleast the last month's pay slip to validate your experience. And the experience should be nothing less than 1 year. And if you looked after your father's store, even that should have an experience letter with the company's letter head and a pay slip. Family business doesn't usually fall under work experience in MNC's. So please consider all this before you mention them in your CAT application.

Dear Candidate, You can mention it but in a creative way. Create your resume in new format where you can mentioned skills which you obtained
but remember you need to convince the recruiter once they asked you about the same.
