It is compulsory to do biology as a part of study in past two years in order to give NEET (National eligibility entrance test).

If you did not have biology in class 12, then you can study biology through NIOS (National institute of open schooling) and appear for NEET the next year. According to this year, the code for such students is "02". The rules might change in the coming years.
