Yes, you can appear for MHT CET exam but you will be eligible only for private engineering colleges of Maharashtra.

To check the official link you can refer below link

https://fe2017.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx

It is recommended that you should apply for private colleges of Maharashtra through JEE Main as they are preffered over MHT CET.

So you mean I won't get chance in colleges like COEP through MHTCET being a non Maharashtrian?
