I'm getting 68 marks in mechanical stream this year. what can I expect?

Hey Suman,

The toughest competitions are faced by Mechanical branch students in Gate exams. If you were from other than mechanical engineering branch then this score between 65-70 will definitely led you to a good reputed college. But in your branch you need to score atleast 80 marks( rank between 200-250) to get into the good IITs , NIT's or PSU .And as you have scored just 68 marks in gate, you will approximately have 2000-3000 rank which would be of no use .

Better to try harder on the next time.
