The academic requirements for applying is as follows:

Candidates, who have passed or will be appearing for higher secondary (10+2) (any stream) qualifying examination in the academic year 2018-19 from a recognized board of education (CBSE, IB, ICSE, or their equivalent) can fill the online application form of NID DAT 2019.

So yes you can apply.

Now about the exam -

 It will comprise two parts:

Part 1: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) marked out of 70 points

Part 2: Subjective questions marked out of 30 points.
