im interested in learning coding and software application and want to do programming, in which branch should i take admission cse or it and cse college is very far from my home but it college is very near to my home

hi,

see you can learn programming in any of the engineering stream, but it will be great if you choose computer science or Information technology. cse and IT stream is quite same, if you want to go to research oriented field after btech , cse stream will be great.

I would suggest you to choose the college as per college placement, infrastructure and faculty experience. see if you may get a college nearer in your home in cse department but have no good placement than, you may face problems for job hunting after 4 years of study. so please dont think about distance any more and try to get admission in good college which has excellent placement record, you may choose cse or IT.
