Hello,

If you are interested to do a 1-year ITI course, there are some in which you can choose your interest. ITI, short for Industrial Training Institute provides short-term vocational training for making the learner employable through the set of skills in handling any trade. One-year courses:

Electrician

Fitter

Welder

Plumber

Machinist

Carpenter

These courses are skill-based and purely on practical. Well, they get you ready to face the technical jobs in manufacturing, construction, and service sectors.

Once you have completed the 1-year course, you can make a selection of jobs available in the government sector or private sector, or even plan to become self-employed depending on the trade. Many ITI graduates are absorbed as apprentices in various industries, in factories, as well as in workshops.

Do research about local courses offered by ITI and requirements for entry and choose a suitable trade.
